AEB General Assembly
Competence of the General Assembly
The General Assembly (GA) is the supreme body of the AEB.
The following issues shall be placed under the competence of the GA:
- The amendment and the approval of the Charter of the AEB*;
- The determination of the overall strategy and policies of the AEB, the directions of the activity of the AEB and the priority of these activities*;
- The determination of the principles of the formation and use of the property and assets of the AEB*;
- The formation of the CNR, EB, and Audit Commission, and the termination of their powers ahead of term*;
- The election of the CEO, and the termination of his / her powers ahead of term*;
- The approval of the annual report and the annual accounting balance sheet and profit-and-loss account of the AEB;
- The approval of the financial plan of the AEB and of its amendment;
- The participation in other organisations;
- The reorganisation and liquidation of the AEB*;
- The approval of Membership fees and their categories;
- The adoption of internal rules of the GA.
* Issues under the exclusive competence of the GA.
Annual General Meeting 2010
In 2010, the Annual General Meeting will take place on April 22 at the Swissôtel Conference Centre, Moscow, Kosmodamianskaya nabereshnaya 52 bld. 7 (near the House of Music and Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy).
We are pleased to invite AEB Members (only) to the AEB Annual General Meeting 2010, which will take place on the 22 April 2010 starting at 17:00 (registration from 16:15) in Swissôtel Conference Centre, Moscow, Kosmodamianskaya nabereshnaya 52 bld. 7 (near the House of Music and Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy).
AEB Members are kindly invited to participate in the AEB Annual General Meeting 2010.
At the AGM AEB members will be given the opportunity to elect the AEB Executive Board, members of the Council of National Representatives, the Audit Commission and the AEB Chief Executive Officer.

We are pleased to accept your nominations for the Executive Board (EB), the Council of National Representatives (CNR) and the Audit Commission (AC).
Nominations will be accepted until 18:00 pm, Friday, April the 2nd, 2010.
Candidates will be asked to provide their photo and short biography by April the 6th, 2010.
Please also be informed that the following two documents:
- a registration form of participation at the AGM
- and proxy (in case you are not able to attend the AGM personally)
will be sent to you on Thursday, April the 8th , 2010 together with
- the ballots for CNR elections and
- the lists of candidates for Executive Board and Audit Commission.
Please be aware that only AEB Members that have paid their membership fees for 2010 will be allowed to vote during the AGM 2010 or to become candidates.
Candidates must be aware of the fact that the activity of the member of the Executive Board is related to monthly meetings and additional duties related to events and delegations.
