On April 5, a round table "EPR reform and other instruments for the formation of a circular economy" was held, organized by the AEB WG on Waste Management.

The round table was organized to provide up-to-date information on the latest legislative changes in the waste management sector.

The event was attended by the main stakeholders in the field of waste management regulation - the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, and Russian Environmental Operator.

During the event experts presented up-to-date information on the ongoing work on the transition to a circular economy, initiatives to involve recyclable materials in production, and discussed open issues related to extended producer responsibility reform.
