On March 28, 2024 AEB Conference center hosted open event dedicated to “Trademark holders rights protection in e-commerce: current practice and regulatory perspectives”.  

The discussion gathered a full range of stakeholders comprising legislative and executive branches represented by State Duma Deputy Irina Philatova and Director of Department of internal trade development at the Ministry of industry and trade Nikita Kuznetsov, AEB members companies from different industries, marketplaces, and experts in intellectual property rights protection. Participants stressed the need of further development of regulatory mechanisms to ensure more effective fight against sale of counterfeit, illegal and unsafe products.

Considering the importance of the issue for our members, AEB is determined to continue supporting their interests in the sphere on e-commerce in close cooperation with all the parties involved.
