On 6 December, the AEB Migration Committee held the 16th Annual Migration Conference "Migration policy: challenges, perspectives, practice". 

The conference was opened by Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO, and moderated by Lyudmila Shiryaeva, Chair of the AEB Migration Committee. 

Valentina Kazakova, Head of the Main Directorate for Migration Issues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, spoke about the perspectives of migration policy development. Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, AEB members and guests of the conference discussed the following actual topics:

• migration law initiatives and practice

• migration policy and investment climate 

• relocation to Russia for expatriates

• permanent residency permit – what is new

• work permit application procedure for IT specialists

• and other actual topics.
