Round table on "Anti-Counterfeiting Activity: Resources and Efficient Strategy"
Dear AEB Members,
The AEB is pleased to invite you to a Round Table - “Anti-counterfeiting: resources and efficient strategy”, organized by the AEB Crop Protection Sub-Committee. The event will take place on March 10th, 2010 at the Delegation of the European Union to the Russian Federation, Kadashevskaya nab. 14/1 from 10:00 to 13:00 (registration starts from 9:30 ).
The share of counterfeit products on the Russian Crop Protection market is dangerously increasing. Based on various expert analyses, economic damage caused by counterfeit products in this sphere is from 15 to 30 percent of the total market value. Using counterfeit products not only brings down companies’ profit, while discrediting their reputation, but threatens human health, the safety of the environment and is economically detrimental to farmers’ business. The Round Table - “Anti-counterfeiting: resources and efficient strategy” is aimed at joining the efforts relevant government bodies, producers – Russian and International and NGOs to prevent and fight against counterfeit products on the Russian Crop Protection market.
We believe that this event will be interesting to both the Crop Protection Industry representatives and those whose business has been affected by counterfeit products.

Attendance Fees
AEB members’ participation for assigned representatives is free of charge;
Fee for additional representatives of AEB members is 3,000 RUR (VAT not applicable);
Fee for representatives of non-member companies: 6,500 RUR (VAT not applicable);
All payments are to be made by bank transfer. Once registration is closed, the fee is non-refundable.
