Total E&P Russie

 

The international energy group Total has been operating in Russia since 1991. Total is a major French investor in Russia. The Group holds a 18,9% stake in Novatek, the biggest Russian independent gas producer. Its main activities in Russia are represented by Total E&P Russie (exploration & production of oil and gas), Total Vostok (marketing of lubricants),TOTSA Total Oil Trading (oil and petroleum products trading), and SAFT (advanced-technology batteries for industry). Upstream projects in Russia: - Yamal LNG (exploration of South Tambey gas and condensate field, construction of LNG plant together with Novatek and other investors) in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (Total – 20%) - Termokarstovoye field (production of gas and condensate together with Novatek) in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (Total - 49%) - Kharyaga PSA (production of oil from objects 2 and 3; since 1/08/16 operated by Zarubezhneft-Production Kharyaga LLC) in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (Total - 20%) Downstream project in Russia: - Total Vostok is pursuing construction of a lubricant blending plant in the Kaluga Region that will come on stream in 2018 - Gazpromneft-Total PMB (Gazpromneft - 50%, Total PMB - 50%), production and marketing of polymer modified bitumen (PMB).
