Dr. Frank Schauff, AEB CEO takes part in the First International Forum “Engineering Technologies – 2010”
Dr. Frank Schauff, Chief Executive Officer of the Association of European Businesses, on invitation, took part in the First International Forum “Engineering Technologies – 2010”. The Forum begun on the 30th of June, 2010 and will last up until the 4th of July, 2010. Dr. Schauff was invited as a representative of the European business in Russia.
At the opening ceremony, during the plenary session that was graced by Prime Minister Putin, Dr. Schauff gave a presentation. Present where over a thousand representatives of various businesses and both Russian and foreign government authorities. In his speech, Dr. Schauff pointed out important factors that are paramount to the development of the Russian economy, including the machine building sector.
Also, we are happy that representatives of several AEB member companies - Peter Loescher, President and CEO of Siemens AG and Christian Estиve, Senior Vice-President of Renault, CEO of Renault Russia, were likewise, asked to take part in the plenary session, which Prime Minister Putin took part in.
Aside from that, Dr. Schauff took part in the Round Table titled, “Ecologization of engineering. Efficient use of water resources in machine-building manufacture”, where he indicated potential platforms for partnership between European and Russian companies in the area of water preparation and purification.
