Legendary Deal Signed Between Capital Group and Philip Morris Sales and Marketing to Lease Legend Business Center


Jones Lang LaSalle advised on 9,000 sq m leasing agreement

Moscow, 28 May 2012 – Capital Group and Philip Morris Sales and Marketing announce the long-term office lease contract signed to lease office premises in Legend, class A+ business center in downtown Moscow. The deal was sealed in a less than a month – a record timeframe for a deal of this importance, with the help of Jones Lang LaSalle.

The office of Philip Morris Sales and Marketing in Moscow will occupy 9,000 square meters in the business center. This is the second time a leading international tobacco company has become the anchor tenant of a Capital Group facility: back in 1998 the companies signed their first rental agreement in a business center on Tverskaya Street. The new deal promises to become historic for the CRE market and one of the most significant events of 2012.

Besides high-quality office space that can be planned in accordance with the company’s individual needs, the tenant has access to numerous amenities, including restaurants, cafeteria, a fitness center, beauty salon, retail outlets, underground parking, in addition to a full range of services provided by a professional management company and other advantages one would expect from a Class A+ business center. For maximum comfort, the business center is equipped with cutting-edge engineering systems, many of which have been installed for the first time in Russia.
