Lidings’ Partner Stepan Guzey to attend Russian Arbitration Day 2013

Moscow will host the Russian Arbitration Day for the first time. It promises to become a unique event aiming primarily at development of international arbitration on the post-soviet territory. The format of the conference and the speakers’ selection criteria were tailored to suit this goal. The organizers intend to bring together leading international arbitration experts offering them opportunity to discuss current issues and legislative developments in the field. 

Attendees will discuss a wide range of topics in relation the three main conference sessions, “General questions concerning arbitration and statutory reforms in the sphere of international arbitration”, “Procedural issues in arbitral proceedings”, and “Applicable law in international commercial arbitration”. 

Alexey Alexandrovich Kostin, the chairman of the ICAC and the MAC, professor and chair of the department of private international and civil law of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, will give a speech at the conference regarding the 20th anniversary of the RF Law on International Commercial Arbitration. Lawyers from former CIS countries as well as England, Germany, Finland, France and others have expressed their interest to partake.
