On October 7 the International Anti-Counterfeiting Forum in Minsk held a session «I Love My Land: the Illegal Market of Plant Protection Products - a Potential Threat to Food Security of the EAEU Countries».

The session was attended by representatives of governmental bodies - the head of the Department of Internal Phytosanitary and Land Supervision, Grain Quality and Safety Control of Rosselkhoznadzor Olga Zakharova, the director of the Department of Crop Production of the Ministry of Economy of the Armenia Republic Varsik Martirosyan and the head of the Department of Justice of the Kostanay Region of the Kazakhstan Republic Aliya Amanzhulova. 

The AEB was presented by its CEO Tadzio Shilling, Crop Protection Committee members and Project manager in Crop Protection and Seeds Anastasia Shevchuk. Representatives of the Russian Union of Crop Protection manufacturers – COO Vladimir Alginin and his deputy Victor Grigoryev, CEO of the leading Russian Crop Protection company «August» Mikhail Danilov, as well as representatives of the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies, law firms providing legal support for investigations into identified cases of trafficking in illegal pesticides, public organizations and the business community took part as well.

Tatiana Belousovich, GR manager in Crop Protection and Seeds AEB moderated the session. 

An agreement was reached to join efforts and to form a consolidated position to combat the circulation of illegal pesticides in Russia and the EAEU.
