On July 29, 2026, the AEB Legal and Finance& Investments Committees held an offline open event “The Supreme Court’s review on special economic measures: implications for business”.

The event was opened by Tadzio Schilling, CEO, AEB, and moderated by Ekaterina Erova, AEB Legal Committee Chair. Among the experts were:

At the event, the experts discussed various aspects of Thematic Review No. 8/2026 “On the application by commercial courts of legislation on special economic measures introduced to protect the national interests of the Russian Federation”, approved by Resolution No. 11A/2026 of the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated June 17, 2026, and answered numerous questions. The presentations and discussion covered issues related to artificial payment splitting, assignment of claims, intellectual property rights of foreign rights holders, enforcement of judgments, and disputes with foreign counterparties.
