On July 7, 2026 AEB held an open roundtable “Transformation of Public Policy on Promoting Healthy Lifestyle: what to expect and how to adapt  business-strategies?" organized by the AEB Food Processing Committee.  

The event served as a unique cross-committee platform to discuss the evolving landscape of healthy lifestyle policy in Russia and its implications for the businesses, uniting representatives from several AEB committees – Food Processing Committee, Special Nutrition Working Group, Insurance and Pensions Committee, SHES as well as Tobacco Working Group. 

The overview on the current approaches to public policy on healthy lifestyle promotion and obesity prevention in Russia was presented by the experts from Kesarev – Yury Panasik, Lilia Nazarova and Elena Korchagina. The panel discussion entitled as «New requirements in the field of combating obesity: business adaptation and Regulatory risk management» was moderated by Kristina Artyukhina, Chair of AEB Food Processing Committee. 

Dmitry Miklin, Chair of the AEB Working Group on Special nutrition covered the aspects of food regulation within the healthy lifestyle paradigm. Elena Kuznetsova (GFK RUS) presented evolving consumer demand patterns under public policy influence. 

Artem Karpov, Head of Personal Insurance, SOGAZ Insurance and Alexey Vigdorchik, Director of Personal Insurance Product Development, Zetta Life Insurance shared the insights on the latest developments in the field of integrating preventive healthcare services into voluntary health insurance (VHI) programs.
