On June 18, 2025, AEB Roundtable “Extended Producers Responsibility: Bank Guarantee and Suretyship Agreement. Risks and Opportunities” was held.

The event was moderated by Pavel Rudyakov, Chairman of AEB Working Group on Waste Management. 

The participants discussed two methods to ensure importers fulfill their obligation to pay the environmental fee if they fail to independently dispose of waste from the use of goods: a bank guarantee and a suretyship agreement. They also explored the advantages and potential risks of each method.
