On July 9, AEB representatives attended a press conference organized by the Russian Automobile Dealers Association. The main topics were the aging of the fleet, a possible increase in the transport tax for old cars and a shortage of spare parts. 

The event brought together representatives of the largest dealer networks, experts and journalists. According to Alexey Podshchekoldin, Head, the average age of passenger cars in Russia continues to increase and has already exceeded 15 years. Due to the limited supply of new cars and high prices, many car owners are forced to operate the old ones for longer. According to the association, the share of cars older than 10 years has reached 60% of the total fleet. Issues of logistics and pricing policy were also discussed. The participants noted that due to the rising cost of production, prices for new cars may continue to increase, but dealers are working on loyalty and credit programs to support customers.
