Moscow extends the remote working until April 1, 2022

18.01.2022

Yesterday, January 18, 2022, the Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin decided to extend until April 1, 2022 the home mode for people over the age of 60 and citizens with chronic disease (previously it was set until February 25, 2022).

Also, the requirement for employers to transfer not less than 30% of their employees to remote working has been extended until April 1, 2022. According to Sergei Sobyanin, this measure works well, reducing the density of human traffic in public transport and office buildings. Moreover, city authorities ask the employers to transfer the maximum number of employees to the work-from-home mode.
