Slovakia became the second country in the EU to approve the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine

The Slovak Republic has become the second country in the European Union to register the Russian vaccine against Sputnik V coronavirus, according to the press service of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

This is already the 39th country in the world to approve the use of the vaccine. The first shipments of the vaccine were delivered to the republic on March 1. The first EU country to register Sputnik V on its territory was Hungary.
