Sobyanin introduced new restrictions due to coronavirus in Moscow

On 10 November 2020, Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin signed Decree №107-УМimposing further restrictive measures to fight the pandemic.

1. Students from the Moscow universities and colleges are switching to distance learning. The Moscow government recommends similar decisions to federal and private universities and colleges. The transport cards of students transferred to distance learning will be temporarily blocked.

2. Schoolchildren and students transferred to distance learning are advised to remain at home.

3. In catering establishments (restaurants, cafes, bars) as well as in entertainment establishments, it is prohibited to serve visitors at night - from 23.00 to 6.00. The restrictions do not apply to takeaway and delivery.

4. Organizations and individual entrepreneurs, welcoming visitors in their buildings or structures, are recommended to register those visitors as well as the incoming employees. This registration procedure shall be similar to the procedure established in paragraph 6 of the decree for organizations and individual entrepreneurs carrying out entertainment activities and shall include information such as possible contact with a person infected with COVID-19.

5. The maximum number of spectators in theaters, cinemas and concert halls should not exceed 25% of the total hall capacity.

6. Sports events with spectators are permitted only with the agreement of the Moscow Sports Department and the Moscow Administration of Rospotrebnadzor.

7. The holding of cultural, entertainment and educational events with spectators is temporarily suspended. The restrictions do not apply to official events from the authorities.

8. The work of children's day camps and children's entertainment centers is suspended, provided that they are located in buildings. Outdoor activities for children are still possible.
