Dr. Dale Davison, CPA, is Professor of Accounting and Dean of Faculty at Thunderbird School of Global Management. He was a partner at Deloitte and Touche, working in the US and internationally, before coming to Thunderbird in 1990. Dr. Davison has numerous teaching awards as an outstanding faculty at Thunderbird.

In today’s global business world, it is important that managers be financially literate and understand all the drivers of how a firm’s finances are created. Dr. Davison is expert at teaching non-financial managers the value, meaning, and interpretation of accounting, tax, and other regulations. Dr. Davison will discuss the globalization of accounting, the effects of economic, political, and corporate influence on standards, and the ‘good and bad’ of unified accounting standards around the world.
