Francois Morvan was appointed as General Manager at the Moscow Marriott Tverskaya Hotel

In his new capacity Francois Morvan will be responsible for overseeing all operational departments within Moscow Marriott Tverskaya. “My main task is taking this newly renovated hotel to the next level,” – says Francois. His experience in the Moscow hotel market and with Marriott hotels made him the perfect choice to lead this boutique style hotel with cozy atmosphere.
 
Francois Morvan was born December 1, 1979 in Annecy, France. He got his bachelor degree in hotel Management followed by a master degree in Hotel Business Administration, both at the famous hotel school of Thonon les Bains in France.
French-born Francois has an excellent professional background. He started his sky-rocketing career in Great Britain in 2000 at the London Hilton Park Lane Hotel at the famous Windows restaurant where he was last Senior Assistant Restaurant Manager. In 2003 he was promoted to Restaurant Manager in the hotel’s Park Brasserie Mediterranean. 
In June 2005 Francois Morvan was appointed as Food and Beverage Operations Manager at the Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest, the best hotel in the country. He was in charge of re-organization of hotel’s F&B department, and refurbishment of the main restaurant, among other responsibilities. 
In 2009 Morvan moved to Moscow from Conrad Istanbul hotel, a five-star hotel with 580 bedrooms, where he worked as Food and Beverage Manager in charge of the largest convention center of the city for two years before. In Moscow he was appointed as Director of Operations at the Moscow Marriott Royal Aurora hotel and was responsible for the operation of the Front Office, Food & Beverage, Guest Service, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Health club departments. 
Francois Morvan likes cooking, spending time with my family and friends, fashion and travel. Apart from his native French, he is fluent in many languages, including English, Romanian and has some knowledge of Spanish and Russian. Francois is married, with 2 sons.
