The AEB is pleased to invite you to its traditional Round Table “Green Finance for Energy Efficiency: Opportunities in Russia”, organized by the AEB Energy Efficiency Committee.

The event will take place on 22 June 2017 at the AEB Conference center, (Krasnoproletarskaya Ul. 16, bld.3, entrance 8, 4th floor), from 9:30 to 11:30 (registration starts at 9:00).

The lack of significant financial incentives is a barrier to boosting the Russian economy’s energy efficiency. After subsidies for regional energy saving programs from the federal budget were frozen and given the conservative tariff and metering policy and limited tax benefits, attracting non-budgetary financing is a major hope for business. In the EU, green financial tools are already one of the basic sources of funding for energy saving projects. But how applicable are they in Russia? What motive is the government planning to apply to again support companies’ energy saving projects? How can businesses raise money to boost energy efficiency right now? These issues will all be discussed at the AEB Energy Efficiency Committee Round table.
The working languages are Russian and English. Interpretation will not be provided.
