The AEB PR and Communications Committee is pleased to invite you to its open meeting with Dr. Xavier Emmanuelli, founder of emergency medical service Samusocial International. The event will take place on Thursday, 19 July 2018, from 16:00 to 17:30 (registration from 15:30) at the AEB Conference Center, ul. Butyrsky Val 68/70, bld. 1, 1^st floor.

At the meeting, Dr. Xavier Emmanuelli will deliver a presentation entitled ”How to stay human in a megapolis. Importance of social support for the most excluded: the case of Samusocial International”.

Dr. Xavier Emmanuelli - Commander of the Order of the Legion of Honor and Commander of the National Order of Merit, co-founder, and subsequently president of Médecins Sans Frontières. A doctor anaesthesiologist-resuscitator for the specialty, he participated in the creation and development of an emergency medical service (SAMU medical). From 1995 to 1997 he was appointed Secretary of State for Emergency Humanitarian Action by President Jacques Chirac. In 1993, Dr. Emmanuelli founded the SAMU Social medical and social assistance service in Paris, and in 1998 he established the international emergency medical service, Samusocial International (Samusocial International), whose president he is today. Thus, Dr. Emmanuelli successfully implemented his project "SAMU Social" in many large cities outside of France, including in Russia, where in 2003 he founded the Charity Fund SAMU Social Moskva.

The meeting will be moderated by Marina Tatarskaya, Chairperson of the AEB PR & Communications Committee, PR Director, Ferrero Russia.
