ICC Russia with active support of the ICC International Court of Arbitration is hosting the 10th anniversary International Arbitration Conference “Russia as a Place for Dispute Resolution” on November 28, 2017, Hotel StandArt, Moscow, Strastnoy Boulevard, 2.

The Conference is traditionally designed to facilitate the development of arbitration courts and international commercial arbitration in Russia; to promote Russian arbitrators in national and international arbitral institutions; and to improve their competency and skills in the field of ADR.

Session under the name “ICC Kitchen” of selecting arbitrators and disputes administration” will open the event. During the session President of ICC International Court of Arbitration Alexis Mourre and Court Secretariat representatives will disclose in details the criteria and procedure for selecting arbitrators in the world's leading arbitration institution - ICC International Court of Arbitration.

Since 1 March, 2017 the ICC has introduced expedited arbitration mechanisms into its rules for reducing both the time and cost of ICC arbitrations with lower value claims. What are the ICC Expedited Rules? How to use the proposed ICC Fast-Track Procedure with the most efficiency for business? This question will be discussed during the session II.
For the first ten-year history of ICC Russia arbitration conferences this year a separate session will be devoted to issues of proving corruption in international arbitration.
The most relevant and specific aspects of arbitration will be discussed in the course of the fourth session, such as: lack of funds from the party as a basis for recognizing an unenforceable arbitration clause; influence on the arbitration agreement of procedures of readjustment and bankruptcy, arbitrability of corporate disputes.
