РОЛЬ РОССИЙСКОЙ ВЕНЧУРНОЙ КОМПАНИИ В ИННОВАЦИОННОЙ ЭКОСИСТЕМЕ

The AEB Modernisation & Innovations Working Group is pleased to invite you to its open event entitled ”The role of Russian Venture Company (RVC) in the Russian innovation ecosystem: Meeting with Alexander B. Povalko, CEO, Chairman of the Board of RVC”, which will be held on March 12^th, 2020, at the AEB premises (Butyrsky Val, 68/70, bld.1, ground floor, office 13), from 10:30 to 12:00 (registration from 10:30).

The Russian Venture Company (RVC) is a state-owned fund of funds and an institution for innovation-driven economic development. The main goals of RVC are to foster the establishment of a private venture capital industry in Russia and to perform functions of the National Technology Initiative (NTI) Project Office. RVC supports the implementation of the national projects “Digital Economy”, “Science” and “Education”.

The meeting will be focused on the opportunities and mechanisms for cooperation between business and RVC. Alexander B. Povalko, RVC CEO, will cover in his presentation on the following aspects:

· Roles of RVC: a development institution, a fund of funds, the NTI Project Office;

· RVC strategy for cooperation with business;

· Opportunities for the implementation of European technologies in the framework of the NTI;

· RVC’s approach to the establishment of joint VC funds.

The event will be moderated by Michael Akim, Chairman of the AEB Modernisation & Innovations Working Group, Vice-President, ABB Russia.
