The conference was moderated by Oleg Zharko, Chairman of the AEB Southern Regional Committee, Regional Corporate Affairs Director, Group of Companies Danone in Russia.

Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO, addressing the participants of the conference, noted that the topic of waste management is relevant and can become part of the" Green Initiative " - a platform created by the Association of European Businesses to unite the efforts of companies, exchange experience and maintain a dialogue between business and government.

Sergey Altukhov, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar region, Chairman of the Committee on Industry, Investment, Entrepreneurship, Communications, Consumer and Financial Markets, Foreign Economic Activity, recalled the importance of an active dialogue between government and business to stimulate further development of the processing industry in the region.

Vasily Vorobyov, head of the Department of investment and development of small and medium-sized enterprises of the Krasnodar region, highlighted the importance of preserving the ecology of the region.

Ralf Bendisch, General Director, CLAAS, Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Krasnodar Region, Deputy Chairman of the AEB Southern Regional Committee, told about numerous measures to reduce raw material costs and save energy.

Representatives of Nestle, Raiffeisenbank, and Danone spoke about the company's strategies for reducing waste, creating a "green office" and combining eco-initiatives of the business community.
