The AEB North-Western Regional Committee’s Construction and real Estate Subcommittee is pleased to invite you to the round table on “SHARE CONSTRUCTION REFORM - OVERVIEW from market players”.

The event will be held on 1^st November, 2018, from 10:00 to 12:00 (registration will start at 9:30 am) at the office of SCHNEIDER GROUP in St. Petersburg (BC “Petrovskiy Fort”, Finliandskiy prospekt, 4A, 8^th floor (right elevator), office 801, St. Petersburg).

On July, 2018, the Russian government introduced new requirements for residential construction developers which will gradually transfer share financing of housing construction to project financing. From July 1, 2019, Russia plans to completely declare off the existing system of attracting citizens' money to residential construction. Developers will not be allowed to attract money from citizens directly, and the residential construction will be financed through banks.

How will these changes affect the residential real estate market participants? What difficulties may developers face when receiving bank guarantees? How will these innovations protect shareholders and change the market? What will happen to construction costs and housing prices? How will the transition from share to project financing be implemented? What are the mechanisms for financing residential real estate construction by banks? How does the State plan to control this process? These are just a few of the issues that currently concern participants in the residential real estate market in Russia and will be discussed during the open event. We have invited speakers from the developers, state, banking and expert consulting side to shed light on the mentioned issues and to participate in discussion.

Participation of 2 representatives from the AEB member companies is free of charge;

Fee for representatives of non-member companies: 7,700 RUR (+ 18% VAT);
