This fall the Russian government will introduce a brand new automotive industry development strategy. The new concept primarily involves export development: the officials aim to sell up to 25% of production volume in export markets. But how can that be achieved when the demand for new cars is declining? What measures could spur buying activity and both domestic and foreign customer demand? What automotive industry development strategy will the government follow?
