The AEB is pleased to invite you to its Sixth Annual Conference, “Modernization of the Russian Economy: Input of European & Russian Businesses”. This time the conference will be organized together with the Institute of Contemporary Development (INSOR).

The conference will consist of three sessions: Legislative Regulation of the Innovating Activities; Financing of Innovating Projects; Energy Efficiency as the Transition Way to the Innovative Economy – the later was identified by President Medvedev as one of the most important target areas.

The representatives of European businesses will have an opportunity to give their expertise on their contribution to the difficult, long term job - a modernization of the Russian economy, showing their concrete achievements and proposing ways of shaping global development and technology trends, in cooperation with their Russian partners.

The conference will take place on November 24^th, 2009, in Moscow, at the INSOR premises (Delegatskaya Ul. 7/1), Conference Hall, from 9:00 to 13:00 (registration will start from 08:15). This will be followed by a cocktail reception.

The Conference’s participants will include representatives from major European and Russian companies, as well as representatives of the RF Government and European embassies.

The working languages of the conference are English and Russian. Simultaneous translation will be provided.

Attendance Fees

The registration fee is for AEB members 5,900 RUB (plus 18% VAT)

For non-members the fee is 6,800 RUB (plus 18% VAT).

All payments are to be made by bank transfer. Once registration is closed, the fee is non-refundable.
