The AEB open meeting on “Pension Schemes” organised by the AEB Insurance and Pensions Committee took place from 10:00 to 12:00 (registration from 9:30), on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the PricewaterhouseCoopers Office, Kosmodamianskaya Nab. 52, Bld. 5, Moscow (metro Paveletskaya).

The event highlighted:

  • the similarities and principal distinctions of pension plans arranged via insurance companies and via non state pension funds,
  • choices of corporate pension plans made by employers in Russia,
  • the main principles in the development of pension products,
  • taxation issues related to non–state pension schemes, etc.
