The AEB is pleased to invite you to a briefing by Mikhail Zadornov, Chairman and CEO of VTB 24, “Status and Perspectives of the Retail Banking Sector in Russia”

The event will be held on March, 28th, 2013, at the Hotel Marriott Tverskaya,ul.1-st Tverskaya-Yamskaya, 34, hall Valdaysky, from 9:30 to 11:00 (registration will start at 9:00).

Before becoming in 2005 the Chairman and CEO of VTB 24, Miknail Zadornov made a brilliant carrier. He was one of the authors of the program “400 days of the Confidence” which served as a basis for the further work of the joint group of Russian and Soviet economists (under supervision of M.Gorbachev and B.Yeltsin). The final edition known as the “500 Days Program” got the approval of the Parliament as an official economic reform program for Russia. Later it was published in English, German and other languages. In 1990-1993 he actively took part in the work of Center for economic and political research monitoring of current political and economic situation, creation of monthly reports and recommendations for the state decision-makers, participating and speaking in many international economic conferences in Russia, the US, Great Britain, Austria, Japan and others(1990-2003). In 1997-1999 he was the RF Minister of Finance; then first Deputy RF Prime Minister (1999); special representative of the RF for international finance institutions relations. During six years (1999-2005) he actively worked in RF State Duma

Mikhail Zadornov addressed the AEB members twice in 2007 during his briefing and at the AEB Flagship conference in 2010.

The working language of the meeting is Russian; English translation will be provided.

Attendance Fees

AEB members’ participation for assigned representatives is free of charge;

Fee for additional representatives of AEB members is 3,500 RUR (+18% VAT);

Fee for representatives of non-member companies: 7,000 RUR (+18% VAT);

All payments are to be made by bank transfer. Once registration is closed the fee is non-refundable.
