Following a well established tradition, the AEB is pleased to announce its next briefing "Current Trends in Russia's Economic Development”, based on the upcoming WB "Russia Economic Report #17" which will be released just one day earlier - 18^th of November 2008. This time, the presentation will cover the short term repercussions of the current global economic turmoil on Russia’s economy. You will have the privilege of hearing the comments, based on this report, from Mr. Klaus Rohland, Country Director and the World Bank’s Resident Representative for Russia as well as World Bank’s Lead Economist and Coordinator for the Russian Federation, Europe, and Central Asia Region, Mr. Zeljko Bogetic.

The briefing will take place in the conference hall of the British Embassy, Smolenskaya Naberezhnaya 10, (entrance through Protochny pereulok, nearest metro station: Smolenskaya) on Thursday, November 20^th, 2008 from 09:30 to 11:00 (Registration takes place from 9:00 am).

Attendance Fees

AEB members’ participation for assigned representatives is free of charge;

Price for additional representatives of AEB members is 2,500 RUR (VAT not applicable);

Price for representatives of non-member companies: 6,500 RUR (VAT not applicable);

All payments are to be made by bank transfer. Once registration is closed the fee is non-refundable.

N.B. For security reasons, we kindly ask that check-in be done from 9:00 to 9:30 am. Also, the time required for admittance into the Embassy could be longer than usual. Please bring your passport with you. Thank you for your understanding.
