The AEB Intellectual Property Committee is pleased to invite you to participate in the open event titled “Regulatory Sandboxes as a Mechanism for Intellectual Property Innovation”.

The event will be held on December 16, 2020, from 10:00 to 12:00 via Zoom video conference.

On January 28, 2021, the law on experimental legal regimes in the field of digital innovations, developed by the Ministry of Economic Development will come into force (dated July 31, 2020 No. 258-FZ) It will allow to create special regulatory regimes for testing new digital technologies. This will create the preconditions for the formation of completely new markets and enable the development of digital platforms.

Regulatory sandboxes are actively used in different countries. As well as in the Russian Federation they are possible to be used in several spheres, such as medicine, transport, agriculture, financial activities, trade, construction and others. At the event the participants of the meeting will discuss the features of digital transformation in Russia and new directions for the development of the digital economy.
