Event information

The Association of European Businesses is pleased to invite you on June 22nd, 2016 to a charity event organized by the Rotary Club Moscow International, under the patronage of its President Mr. Erik Koebe, for the project « Restart U », with the support of H.E. Dr. Emil Brix, Ambassador of Austria in the Russian Federation, and his wife Ms. Elisabeth Brix.

Please click HERE to have a look at the program of the evening – the “Ball of Perfumes”. The event will take place on 22 June 2016 at 19:00 – 22:00 in the Residence of H.E. Dr. Emil Brix, Ambassador of Austria in the Russian Federation (Prechistensky per, 6, Moscow). The event will be dedicated to harmonies between perfumes, music, dance and tastes; the artists from the Bolshoy Theatre and the musicians from the Kremlin Orchestra will give life to those harmonies…

The project “Restart U”, managed together with Prof. Natalya Belova and the GMS clinic, is dedicated to children suffering from rare genetic diseases, in particular the disease of “crystal bones” (fragile bones). Our target is to finance the purchase of wheelchairs and of walking devices in order to give a chance to those children to go out of their homes, to go to school, to perform arts, to get friends, in few words, to have a more “normal” life. As those equipment have to be « tailored made » for each child, their cost is too high for most families. Last year, during the first fundraising organized in the residence of the Ambassador of Denmark, we managed to raise around 900.000 rubles, which gave the possibility to buy equipment for 5 children. This year our target is to purchase equipment for 10 children.

You can find more information about the project and what we have already achieved on our site: http://www.rcmi.ru/sites/default/files/cvp/index.html. Please click HERE for more information on how you can contribute to the project.

The cost of the entrance ticket is 5.000 rubles. All the funds raised during the evening will be dedicated to the purchase of equipment. You will find also in the file attached the other possible types of contribution to the project.
