IХ International Conference “Global Economic Risk Management”

The Conference is organized by Risk management and insurance Department of MGIMO, All-Russian Insurance Union and Association of European business in Russia.
Purpose of this year annual Conference – to identify main global economic risks, in particular is the assessment of the impact of global pandemic, natural disasters and increasing cyber threats for the national and global economies, and to discuss possible solutions at the different levels, including state regulation and involvement, using insurance and public-private partnership means, optimal solutions to mitigate these risks in the most efficient ways.
This year Conference includes a special discussion panel for the young lawyers organized with the support of the Russian national Chapter of International Association of Insurance Law (AIDA) within international program “Young AIDA” to support research in the legal area of insurance.
We are inviting to participate in the Conference: students, magisters, post-graduates, alumni, insurance professionals, science and research teams, professors of the institutes and universities. Best reports, selected by the Organizing Committee, will be published in the science and economic magazines, and in the MGIMO publication.
Conference is organized online at the Zoom platform. All registered participants will get a link to join the Sections and Plenary meeting online.
Registration is open till 25th October 2020 and is free.
Official languages of the Conference: Russian and English (translation is not granted).

“Russian National Chapter of AIDA (International Association of Insurance Law) initiated to invite young lawyers and legal practitioners to participate in the Section 4 of the Conference "Insurance contract and COVID (legal aspects)" within global research and education program "YOUNG AIDA".
We are inviting bachelors and post-graduates, young graduates of higher education institutions in legal specialties under the age of 30, to participate in the Conference and submit their research to the competition.
The competition will last until December 10, and its results will be summed up jointly by the Conference Organizing Committee, the AIDA national Chapter and the ARIA at a special joint meeting.
The best three articles will be published as part of the Conference documentation and will take part in the European competition "YOUNG AIDA". This can be an excellent beginning of a successful career in Russian and international law firms."
