OPEN INNOVATIONS FORUM 2020

We are pleased to inform you of the AEB session ”Paris Agreement and the Green Deal: New European Grants and Opportunities for Co-Innovation” which will be held within OPEN INNOVATIONS 2020 business programme on Wednesday, 21 October, at 16:30–17:30 in the format of online conference.

The discussion in the session will address the following key topics:

• government approaches in the EU Member States and Russia and the unity of tasks related to climate change;
• use of technology by large international corporations within CSR programs developing, contributing for SDGs and economic problem solving;
• role of science in forcing industry to accelerate the move toward reducing greenhouse gas emissions;
• forest restoration as air pollution compensation;
• carbon boarder tax as a way of forcing innovation.

The session will be moderated by Michael Akim, AEB Board Member, Chairman of the AEB Modernisation & Innovation Working Group; Associated Partner, Vitus Bering Management Ltd.; Professor of Graduate School of Business, HSE University.

The working languages of the event are English and Russian. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided.

The ninth International Open Innovations Forum will be held on 19–21 October. This year, due to the epidemiological situation, the Forum is held online. Participation in the event is free of charge upon prior registration at the following link: openinnovations.ru.
