VI International Conference «Transport and Transit Potential», Saint Petersburg, 3-4 October 2013

The AEB would like to draw your attention to the VI International Conference «Transport and Transit Potential». This event will take place 3-4 October 2013 in Saint Petersburg.

The conference is a «United Russia» party project, supported by the RF Federation Council of the Federal Assembly, RF State Duma, RF Ministry of Transport and other profile ministries, agencies and departments.

The aim is to work out solutions that will contribute to efficient freight transfers operation, transport and transit potential realization and shall widen capability for transport sector economic growth within the Eurasian space.

Following topics will be discussed during the conference:

•  Improving legislation of the transport complex of Russia and Eurasian Economic Community;

•  Simplifying the operation of freight transfers through the RF and Customs Union border;

•  Outsourcing of logistics services;

•  Options to decrease the expenses on transport and logistics services;

•  Freight transfers problems concerning different types of transport;

•  Investment in transport infrastructure development. Mechanisms of state-private partnership;

•  Opportunity to rolling stock park renovation: transport manufacturing, leasing.
