XIV Regional Investment Congress supported by the AEB

The analytical base for the congress will be the XXI Rating of Russian regions’ investment attractiveness, prepared by the rating agency RAEX (Expert RA). The rating is published for more than 20 years and appears to be an established mechanism to assess the investment climate in the Russian Federation.

Main topics for discussion are the following:

• Effective investment policy under conditions of reducing budget expenditures: best practices.
• Key drivers and barriers for business development in Russian regions.
• Prospects of regional project offices as a new tool for investment climate improvement.
• The devaluation of ruble and foreign business: adjustment of investment strategies.

This congress will be attended by the heads of federal authorities, regional administrations, representatives of development institutions, foreign investors, business associations, financial and investment institutions, industrial companies and related industries. There are more than 200 participating delegates.

Within the framework of the event the awarding ceremony for the representatives of regional administrations will be held on the basis of the rating of investment attractiveness.
