On 25 September, 2012, Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia Andrei Belyaninov, Head of Rosgranitsa Dmitry Bezdelov, Director General of the Tax and Customs Board of Estonia Marek Helm and CEO of the Association of European Businesses Dr. Frank Schauff, launched a pilot project on Estonian-Russian border that would considerably cut queues of trucks waiting to cross the border.

New infrastructure facilities will help to increase trade turnover between the EU and Russia, and one of them opened yesterday on the border of Estonia and the Pskov region.
