In the framework of the CPC Anti-counterfeiting Working Group Communications campaign a number of significant activities and events took place: in particular, an important Open Event – Press Conference "Counterfeit pesticides - danger for everybody". The event was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the RF, the AEB, the Russian Union of Crop Protection manufacturers, with the participation of the Federal Customs Service and the State Duma, and it was held within the framework of the 14th Russian Agricultural Exhibition "Golden Autumn-2012". The aim of the conference was to raise awareness to the problem through the discussions and following press coverage. The video film, prepared in cooperation with the European Crop Protection Association, and the marketing research results, carried out by Kleffmann Company were presented at the Press Conference. An event was a success, with more than 150 guests and resonance in mass-media, including REN TV Federal Channel.
