On October 29th, 2012 the AEB Board and Chairmen of the AEB Banking, Customs and Transport, Energy Efficiency, Machine Building & Engineering, Retail Trade committees had a Lunch Meeting with the Delegation of the European Parliament Committee on International Trade, headed by the Committee Chairman Mr. Vital Moreira. The participants discussed Russian investment climate, business environment and EU-Russia relations. The AEB members gave their view on development of the automotive, banking, machine building and retail industries, challenges for small and medium-sized enterprises, discussed customs issues, situation with intellectual property rights and public procurement. The AEB Board once again raised concerns about EU-Russia visa dialog and highlighted the importance of visa-free regime between Russia and the EU for business.
