On December 12, Krasnodar hosted the conference "The Role of Business Associations in the Kuban economy." One of the key co-organizers of the event was the Southern Regional Committee of the Association of European Businesses (AEB), which, together with leading business and public structures of the region, brought together government representatives, business associations and entrepreneurs.

The main topic of the discussion was an effective dialogue between government and business as a basis for achieving strategic development goals in the current environment. The participants, including representatives of the AEB, stressed that regional policy should be focused on the individual — his well-being and opportunities for self-realization. Special attention was paid to working with young people: it was noted that, despite the high overall attractiveness rating of the region, young residents face problems in finding high-paying jobs and prospects.

During the meeting, new growth points were also discussed, such as creative industries, which, through the commercialization of intellectual activity, create added value and increase the innovative potential of companies. The participants not only identified key challenges, but also formulated proposals for the sustainable development of the Kuban economy, confirming the importance of consolidating the efforts of business associations, government and society.
