On November 13, 2024, the AEB held its 20th anniversary flagship conference, this year dedicated to the topic "European Business in Russia: What Role in the New Economic Order?".

More than 300 people registered for the conference this year to discuss macroeconomic scenarios, strategies and challenges for European companies in the Russian market and regulatory issues.

The flagship conference traditionally began with a macroeconomic panel moderated by Mikhail Chaykin, CEO, ING Bank. Evgeny Nadorshin, Chief Economist, PF Kapital, Vladimir Tikhomirov, Chief Economist, Macro-Advisory, Yury Panasik, Partner, Kesarev Consulting, spoke about economic development scenarios, possible future prospects for the key rate, the impact of national projects, trends and drivers of economic growth.

The panelists discussed the options for supporting the economy, the strategies of pharmaceutical companies in the Russian market, regulation of digital platforms, and the prospects for relations between foreign businesses and the regulator.
