AEB Annual Migration Conference "Migration Policy: Trends and Practice"

On December 9, the AEB Migration Committee held its annual conference dedicated to current trends and practices in migration policy.
Conference participants discussed in detail a wide range of topics defining the current agenda for employers: migration concepts; digital services for foreign citizens; an overview of the main changes to migration legislation in 2025; current issues in attracting highly qualified specialists; and issues related to the processing of personal data when hiring foreign workers.
Conference participants discussed responses received from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Moscow Government to specific questions from AEB member companies, which is particularly valuable for building clear and predictable business processes.
Government agencies were represented by Tatyana Skvortsova, Director of the Department for the Development of Digital Identification Technology at the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, who highlighted the development vector of state digital platforms.
Partners and leading lawyers from AEB member firms B1, Visa Delight, ALRUD, and ADVANT Beiten presented their expertise on best legal practices. Their presentations focused on practical solutions to complex cases related to labor and immigration law.
