In his speech Dmitry Cheltsov noted that Eurasian integration has become a new reality for European business operating in Russia and in other EAEU member states. Despite political difficulties, trade between the EU and the EEU remains the most important area of cooperation. Undoubtedly, under the influence of the pandemic, we saw a decline in economic indicators in 2020. However, in the first eight months of 2021, exports from the EAEU countries totaled $133.6 billion. This is almost the same as for the whole of 2020.

He concluded by stressing that the Association of European Businesses consistently advocates the development and expansion of cooperation of regional integrations in the economic sphere, overcoming disagreements, and harmonizing standards and procedures in international trade.
