On November 16, 2022, the AEB annual conference on the application of technical regulation EEC No. 048/2019 on Energy Efficiency Requirements for Energy Consuming Appliances took place for the third time.

Hubert de Haan, CEO of BSH Home Appliances, gave an introductory speech. The position of AEB was presented by Pavel Rudyakov, Deputy Chairman of the Home Appliance Manufacturers Committee, Samsung. 

      

Traditionally, representatives of Eurasian Economic Commission, "Belarusian State Institute of Standardization and Certification", experts of European Association of Home Appliances Manufacturers APPLiA took part in the Conference as well as specialists of "Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology".

Once again, the Conference proved to be a perfect platform for sharing experience, information about current problematic issues of implementing the requirements of technical regulations TR EEU 048/2019, peculiarities of transitional periods, plans to finalize TR EEU 048/2019 to the requirements contained in the updated package of European directives, the terms of development and adoption of EEC Acts in development of the technical regulations. The participants also discussed innovations in the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
