AEB Customs and Transport Committee, Japan Business Club Customs Committee and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) discussed actual issues of customs regulations

On November 22, 2018, AEB Customs and Transport Committee, Japan Business Club Customs Committee and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) held its fifth annual roundtable to discuss actual issues in customs regulation and exchanged opinions on practical aspects related to risk management system, rating system of foreign trade participants, responsivity of a declarant for customs rules violation, technical regulation and certification systems in the Eurasian Economic Union.


Companies also exchanged the best practices for creating a supply chain in the EAEU. 

On behalf of the AEB, the meeting was chaired by Ruslan Kokarev, AEB COO, and Dmitry Cheltsov, AEB Customs and Transport Committee Chairperson, IRU, and on behalf of JBC  - Yoshiki NAKANO, JBC Customs Committee Chairperson, Yusen Logistics. 
Mr. Nakano, JBC Customs Committee Chairperson, and Mr. Nomura, General Director of JETRO Moscow representative office, presented to the Event participants the results of questionnaire “Actual issues of customs clearance in Russia in 2018” for the Japanese companies operating in Russia.

It was agreed to continue the constructive dialog and regular meetings between AEB Customs and Transport Committee, JETRO and JBC.
