On July, 14 the AEB GR Academy held a special masterclass dedicated to the review of the outcomes of the 29th St. Petersburg economic forum - “SPIEF 2026: Key outcomes and strategic implications for business”. 

The event was opened by the Chairman of the AEB Board Ulf Schneider and moderated by Philippe Pegorier, Deputy Chairman of the AEB Board.

Yury Panasik, Partner, Kesarev presented an overview of the forum’s outcomes, outlining the key economic policy directions, sector-specific trends, and regulatory signals that are likely to shape the business environment in the year ahead.

Furthermore, the session “Beyond the headlines – SPIEF 2026 through a business lens” brought together the participants of SPIEF 2026: Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO, Larisa Matveeva, executive director, AIPM and Martin Hubmann, Hyperglobus Russia. The speakers discussed why it is important for foreign businesses to participate in large-scale business events nowadays and shared with the audience their own experiences and impressions.
