On 31 October, the AEB WG on Waste Management held a Round Table "Extended Producer Responsibility Reform: From Concept to Implementation". The event was organised to provide up-to-date information on the latest legislative developments in waste management. 

During the event, experts provided up-to-date information on the ongoing work on acts to develop the updated extended producer responsibility mechanism (EPR). In particular, the following topics were covered:

• peculiarities of the experiment with the use of the contract of guarantee, 

• work through associations, 

• submission of EPR reporting under the new rules.

The round table was attended by a representative of the Department of Chemical Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, as well as the Department of Extended Producer Responsibility of Russian Environmental Operator.
