On December 16, 2025, the Association of European Businesses (AEB) held a traditional webinar from the AEB Sanctions Update series dedicated to the 19th package of European Union sanctions.

The event was organized to analyze new restrictions on residents of special economic zones (SEZs), as well as to assess related legal and economic risks. The webinar participants, leading experts in the field of international law and sanctions regulation, discussed the key provisions of the package, their practical interpretation and possible business implications.

During the discussion, the mechanisms for the application of sanctions, the legal aspects of their implementation, as well as strategies for minimizing risks for companies operating under increased regulation were considered. The students received up-to-date information and were able to ask questions in real time.

The webinar continued AEB's series of regular events aimed at supporting the business community in a rapidly changing international regulatory environment.
