On November 18, 2021, the AEB held the 25+ Anniversary celebrations and South Regional Committee 18th Anniversary in Krasnodar. The event became  a prolongation of AEB jubilee activities.

Within the framework of the jubilee program there was a panel discussion devoted to the issues of business education for training specialists for the regional economy. The main attention was paid to the business schools in the universities supported by the companies of the AEB Southern Regional Committee. This program exists since 2015, today it is already realized in 4 universities of Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don. Its main target audience is undergraduate and graduate students who plan to link their future career with major international companies. For the first time this year in one of the universities in the business school there was also a training group for teachers who are interested in expanding their knowledge of the competencies needed to work in international business. In the few years since 2015, more than 500 graduates have graduated from these business schools. Many of them are now working in AEB member companies, some in other countries.

Among the speakers of the panel were: Lubov Popova, Deputy Chairman of the AEB Southern Regional Committee, Chairman of the Krasnodar Region Public Chamber, Mikhail Astapov, Rector of the Kuban State University, Ralf Bendish, Deputy Chairman of the AEB Southern Regional Committee, General Director, Claas, Mikhail Baryshev, Acting Rector of the Kuban State Technological University, Alexander Trubilin, Rector of the Kuban State Agrarian University and Daria Tkach, Head of the Center of Professional Development at Kuban State University.

 

Ralf Bendish, Deputy Chairman of the AEB Southern Regional Committee, General Director, Claas, stressed the need to orient the professional education of students to the needs of businesses. In this regard Oleg Zharko thanked the rector the Kuban State Agrarian University Alexander Trubilin for his support of the School of Business, proposed by the AEB 7 years ago.  

The second session was devoted to congratulatory speeches by the leadership of the region and businesses representatives. Among the speakers, who addressed the Committee with warm words of support were: Igor Galas, First Deputy Head of Administration (Governor) of Krasnodar Region, Alexander Ruppel, Deputy Head of Administration (Governor) of Krasnodar Region, Igor Chagaev, Deputy Head of Administration (Governor) of Krasnodar Region and others.
