On 22 April, 2016,  Muriel Rousseau-Ovchinnikov, an active member of the AEB, in the presence of H. E. Jean-Maurice Ripert, Ambassador of France to the Russian Federation, and his spouse, was awarded the highest French order, Legion d’Honneur. The insignia were handed by Philippe Pegorier, Acting Chairman of the AEB Board.
